Metamorphy (MM) is a physical hybrid DPS/support. She grants teammates Cooldown Reduction and Attack Percentage, while also reducing Enemy Defense. She has very high synergy and solid damage output.

Pros

  • Has tools to handle monsters of all sizes

  • Easy to pick up and play

  • Very strong support abilities

  • Can be used as an EXP farming character

Cons

  • Runs out of MP easily

  • Dies easily


Skill Bar Setup

You don't really have any other useful skills to use. Meteor Call can be swapped with Lightning Bolt, depending on personal preference.


Damage Skills & Rotation

Your main damage skills vary depending on the boss size.

  • Against large-size bosses

Examples: 20-4 (Phase 1 & 2), 20-5 (Phase 2 during groggy), 21-1 (Phase 1 & 2), 21-2 (Phase 1 & 2), 21-4 (Phase 1 & 2), 21-5

Your main damage skill is [Mod] Gust Storm: Strange Particle. You must keep roughly four character-lengths away from the boss to deal maximum damage.

Only in 21-5 should you switch the Impact Zone back to the original version.

  • Against humanoid bosses

Examples: 20-5 (Phase 1), 20-5 (Phase 2 in normal state), 21-3 (Phase 1 & 2)

Your main damage skill becomes Megaton Press. You no longer need to maintain distance, because doing so may cause you to lose part of the damage from [Mod] Gust Storm: Strange Particle. Just stay close to the boss and spam skills.

After Megaton Press gets buffed, you can also use it as your main skill against bosses like 20-4 (Phase 1), 21-1 (Phase 2), 21-4 (Phase 2). However, you still need to keep a distance of four character-lengths so [Mod] Gust Storm: Strange Particle can deal its full damage.

If a humanoid boss has a platform above it, Megaton Press may get stuck on the platform, resulting in some damage loss.


Support

  • 0.7 sec. Cooldown Reduction every second

  • 20% Physical Attack

  • 36% Physical Defense Reduction


Buff upkeep

  • If you’re using an Maestro Halo, remember to use a Command Attack.

  • When you have Exascale Red, Antenna Earring can be restacked during most patterns, because Teleport is extremely strong.

  • >>ZX grants the Teleport buff, so you don’t need to press Teleport twice and waste time.

  • Energetic Body is the core of your entire damage output - use it whenever it's available.


Tips

  • What you need is Active Skill Cooldown Reduction/Acceleration (CDR/CDA) so Energetic Body can be cast again within its duration.

  • Try to cap Cooldown Reduction on all skill types (35%).

  • Comet Crusader, Catastrophe, Demersio, Bluhen, Avarice can help with Energetic Body’s cooldown due to Party Active Skill CDA.

  • If your Bravery CDR is capped, then [Mod] Gust Storm: Strange Particle and Megaton Press will only have 9.6 seconds cooldown while under Energetic Body.

  • Magical Makeup grants 15% Skill Damage, 20% Damage Reduction, and +50 Max MP.

  • The only recommended Exascale setup is Red and Cont. Damage.

  • Don’t hold the down key when teleporting, that might kill you instantly in some dungeons.
