Nyx Pieta

Overview

Nyx Pieta is a support character mainly focused on debuffs such as Received Damage Increase and Defense Decrease. He also provides: Elemental Resistance Decrease, Freeze, Action Speed Decrease, Master Skill/Hyper Cooldown Reduction, instant 3 Awakening Beads/Special Resource Recovery, cleanse, a revive effect, and Attack/Defense Increase.

Pros

• Buffs/debuffs last for a long time.
• Relatively low investment required compared to DPS classes.
• His Master Skill provides a unique buff that grants Master Skill/Hyper Active Skill Cooldown Decrease, adored by some characters.
• Using the Awakening key while in Full Moon gives 90% Damage Reduction for 5 sec., making Nyx Pieta able to tank almost everything. (Cooldown: 15 sec.)

Cons

• Has no way of reducing the team’s Special Active Cooldown.
• High competition due to being a popular support.
• Has a hard time dealing with dungeons on his own.

Tips

• Make sure you always debuff instantly after boss cleanses debuffs.

When a boss gets surrounded with a pink aura (Hyper Armor), their debuffs get cleansed. Wait until Hyper Armor disappears to use them.
For better visibility, change your Boundary setting to higher. (Options > Graphics > Boundary)

• ALWAYS press the Special Action key to activate [Salvation] at the start of every dungeon (V key by default.)

• [Mod] Extinction is recommended, as it makes the debuff easier to apply due to a longer range.

• Master Skill Stage 1 is better than others due to the shortest cooldown and no difference in buff effect.

• Artifact’s Hidden Power 2nd row effect can be helpful, if it’s any of:

  • Master Skill Size Increase (max 20%) to catch more allies with buff hitbox.
  • Master Skill Cooldown Decrease (max 20%) to use it more often.

  Aim for Stage 1 or all Master Skills.

• Support Synergy:

  

• 2nd Path 3/6: allows you to use Cloudy Sunshower with Active Force Skills every 30 sec., healing allies in range.

  • 3rd Path 3/6: allows you to use Broken Seal of Time with Active Force Skills every 30 sec., providing a revive effect (does not stack with his Master Skill.)
  • Blessing of Spirit 2/2: grants 80 000 HP for additional survivability.
  • The other stats primarily boost CP (3% Polarize, 2% Ignore Defense, 1% Attack).

• In raids, make sure to prioritize Nyx Pieta’s Master Skill over Broken Seal of Time when playing with the following characters: Lord Azoth, Code: Esencia, Code: Antithese, Dominator, Prime Operator, Eternity Winner, Twins Picaro, Celestia.
