11/23 Patch Notes - Revision Balance Patch, QoL, New Season Pass

Developer Notes

After the balance patch was carried out on Thursday, November 9th, we intensively inspected the new gameplay data related to characters that were subject to this balance.
With this in mind, we will be releasing an additional revision patch during this maintenance.

Through the last balance, LuCiel's unique system that plays a key role in the character's concept and gameplay pattern was changed.
As the existing effects were adjusted, it was expected to impact the play pattern and experience.
In the case of certain classes, we judged that some inconveniences regarding them arose after this patch.

Catastrophe and Innocent - the usage condition for their core skills has been changed from CP to MP.
We determined that their resource flow was no longer smooth.

Through the revision patch, we plan to improve the supply and demand of Combination Points.
The Combination Gauge effect has also been changed on some skills, and increased on others.

We fully agree with the feedback from adventurers that the separation of LuCiel's MP bars is a bad thing for MP consumption.
We judged this to be a negative factor in gameplay, so we significantly increased the MP Recovery amount of characters in the switching standby state (inactive).

After the revision patch, we will continue to monitor Catastrophe's and Innocent's supply and demand of Combination Points.
We will review additional patches if these changes are deemed insufficient.

Adventurers might have had experienced a sense of heterogeneity in characters after this balance.
We are internally sensitive when it comes to character originality.
Those who play other characters than LuCiel are also welcome to speak up about the inconvenient aspects of gameplay.
We are constantly reviewing opinions, so we kindly ask for yours.

Last, but not least - the next balance patch - featuring Aisha, Raven and Ain - is happening on January 4th.

Elrios Pass Season 6

A new Elrios pass and Anne's Growth Support Pass will be added this maintenance.
Anne's Growth Support Pass consists of rewards that help beginner adventurers grow.

Changes to daily dungeon special reward benefit (Premium Season Pass)

The existing benefit will be removed.
Instead, daily dungeon rewards will be doubled when entering for the first time.

• Applies to all daily-limited reward dungeons.

Customization - Mark

A new customization 'Mark' will be added in this patch.
A unique icon is displayed to the left of the character name in the game, and special features are applied to each mark.

1. A new customization 'Mark' is added to the Customization UI.

2. Mark customization effects apply to all locations, including villages, dungeons, fields, PvP and practice mode.

   • Effects that apply only to specific content can be checked on the tooltip.

3. The customization cannot be changed or applied in dungeons or fields.

4. In the case of LuCiel, there is no distinction between Lu and Ciel.

5. Existing PC Room Mark is removed.

6. 3 types of Mark Customizations can be obtained at any time.

• Mark Customizations are obtained on a per-character basis and cannot be stored in the Shared Bank.

QoL Improvements

1. Abyss Raid Weapon: the conditions of some growth stage quests for the Submergence of Abyss - Phantom Weapon have been improved.

2. Improvements to the Shadow Earl's Castle (17-5):

   • The number of gargoyles that spawn monsters in 2-1 and 2-2 is reduced.

   • The number of Blue Flame Gargoyles required to clear 2-1 and 2-2 is reduced from 2 to 1.

   • The waiting time for the mid-boss's final attack is reduced.

   • The cooldown of the boss's charging pattern is increased.

   • During the boss's ultimate pattern, the damage reduction value given to the boss is lowered.

   • The effect and duration of the Aging debuff given by the gargoyles are reduced.

3. Improvements have been made so that the start / end cutscenes can be terminated in raid dungeons.

5. [Luriel] Fighter Potions (20x) will be added to the EP Shop selling list.

   • Can be exchanged 1 time a week.

6. In the Guild UI > 'Guild Management,' you can now set the maximum quantity for Guild Chest withdrawals.

7. When using a Guild Contract, the maximum accumulated duration increases to 48 hours (was 24 hours).
   Target items) Training Time Contract, Artisan Wisdom Contract, Guild Base Stamina Recovery Service Contract

8. When using Smash in Guild Expedition, the cooldown is reduced to 2 seconds (was 5 seconds).

9. When supplementing Pet Nutrition, the maximum digestion time is increased.
   Before) 72 hours (3 Days)
   After) 168 hours (7 Days)

10. Use the MAX button to add your pet's growth points all at once. A new revert button is also added to undo unintended application of pet growth points.

11. The availability in the Magic Wardrobe will now be displayed on the item's tooltip.

Improved NPC dialogue window and interaction UI

During this maintenance, the NPC dialogue window and interaction UI will be changed to match the new UI design.
Additionally, some NPCs will receive new interactive dialogues for certain menus.

Revision Balance Patch

Since this patch will most likely be merged into the previous one on non-KR servers, the previous balance notes post is updated with new information. Check it out [here].

Events

New Character Lithia - pre-event

• Period: November 23 ~ December 7

• Target: Characters lv. 10 or higher (per account)

• Details: During the event period, clear various daily / weekly missions that can be obtained at the top of the screen and via the quest menu.

You can obtain certain event items, and depending on the collected amount, you can exchange to rewards such as Amethyst or Tenebrous Aura Cubes or Vestige of Soul - Weapon of Requiem Cube (Lithia-exclusive), which can be opened on the new character Lithia after the update. Character

1. Knight Emperor - fixed Persistence not applying to skills sometimes.

2. Empire Sword - Charge! will now apply correctly in all situations.

3. LuCiel - fixed Lu's hair color not displaying in the Magic Wardrobe UI sometimes.

Dungeon / PvP / Field

1. Fixed returning to stage 2 even if you didn't die at Shadow Earl's Stage miniboss.

2. Patched an issue where Secret Dungeons ED/EXP reward was incorrect in certain situations.

Pet / Mount

1. The issue where it was not possible to replenish nutrition with QPL Jelly when there was remaining digestion time for a pet will be resolved.

Quest

1. Prof. Pho's Second Growth Guide - quests related to the Varnimyr Raid in period 4 will be modified so that you can proceed regardless of mode.

2. Prof. Pho's Third Growth Guide - the conditions for completing the 4th quest in the 5th period have been changed.
   Before) Use the Guardian of the Secret Closed Space item
   After) Use the Guardian of the Secret Closed Space item (own, excluding limited-term titles)

Other

1. Fixed an issue where clear videos remained uncleared for the Ruben Village.

2. When connecting to the game, fixed a pop-up appearing that says "The status of your friend's character is incorrect" after adding a character that had already accepted the friend request.

3. Fixed the community chat window having its transparency setting reset after a dungeon clear.

4. Fixed being able to Smash in Guild Expedition twice in a row without a cooldown.

5. Pet PvP - victory / defeat animation will be centered.

6. When the character has stepped on a portal and the chat window or any text input was active, fixed not being able to teleport with "Z".

7. An issue where enhancement, repair and item identification fees were not applied to certain [Ariel] armor is fixed.

8. Fixed the time-limited item warning dialog not displaying when quitting to Character Selection with the Enter key.

9. Fixed expelled / withdrawn Guild members still displaying in the member list.

10. Fountain of Blessing's HP Increase effect is fixed to apply normally according to LuCiel's representative stat character.
