(Updated) 12/04 & 12/18 Patch Notes - Winter Update

Maintenance

As previously announced, Equipment and Skill Recommendation systems are being released in this patch.
Additionally, various updates are included, such as Avatar Dyeing and Serpentium Raid solo mode.

Attention: The notice from 2 weeks before was unintentionally omitted, and will be merged with this one. December 4th content will be marked in green.

UI Improvements (December 4th)

  1. Trading UI Revamp

    • The phrases [Personal Trade] and [Trade Request] will be unified to [Trade Request].

    • A checkmark will be added on items in the inventory selected for trading in order to better distinguish them.

    • When re-clicking an already registered item, it can be unregistered.

  2. Crafting UI Revamp

    • Item lists previously separated by the materials required for crafting will be merged into a single list.

    • When multiple material items are available in the inventory during crafting, a feature will be added that allows selecting which item to use.

  3. Upgrading UI Revamp

    • When multiple material items are available in the inventory during crafting, a feature will be added that allows selecting which item to use.

  4. Guild Service UI Revamp

  5. El House Entrance UI Revamp

    • At NPC Ariel, a tab of recently visited El Houses will be displayed.

    • Added a feature that allows you to search for and enter a specific player's El House at NPC Ariel > El House.

    • While inside El House, added a button to check the El House Entrance UI.

  6. Repair UI Revamp

    • An option will be added to the Repair UI that allows repairing only the currently equipped gear.

Adventurer Equipment Report System

  1. Equipment Guide System will be added to check equipment status of adventurers with high Combat Power.

    • The UI can be accessed through Character UI [Adventurer Equipment Raport] button.

    • Updated at regular intervals to make sure you can view the latest data.

    • In the case of LuCiel, separate information for each character is provided.

    • Available after 3rd job.

    • Can only be used in towns.

  2. Select the equipment slot to view frequently equipped items and equipment ratio of top adventurers.

    • You can check the Costume (Suit, Weapon, Armor, Accessories) and Content Accessory slots.

    • When selecting a slot, displays top 5 recommended items/equipment for the current character.

Skill Recommendation System

  1. Skill Recommendation System will be added to check equipped skill status of adventurers with high Combat Power.

    • The UI can be accessed through Skill UI [Skill Recommendation] button.

    • Updated at regular intervals to make sure you can view the latest data.

    • Available after 3rd job.

    • Can only be used in towns.

  2. Displays 10 Active/Special Active skills, 1 Hyper Active Skill and 1 Master Skill, just like the regular skill slots.

    • You can check skills equipped by adventurers with high Combat Power.

    • There are two skill builds available through tabs - [Dungeon] and [Raid].

    • Currently locked skills will be marked as disabled.

    • You can immediately equip the skill build by using the [Equip] button. However, if there are disabled skills, they will not be equipped.

Improved Prof. Pho's Growth Guide

  1. The existing first to fifth guides will be replaced by new quests tailored to help with dungeon progression.

  2. Quick teleport added at the bottom of the Prof. Pho's Growth Guide UI.

    1. El Resonance EXP Farming

      • Available after clearing Epic Quest: 'Entering Rigomor'.

      • An ERP EXP farming dungeon is recommended based on your current Combat Power.

    2. Weapon Progression

      • You can immediately move to NPCs in Elrianode or Magmelia related to weapon progression.

    3. Armor Progression

      • You can immediately move to NPCs in Elrianode or Magmelia related to armor progression.

      • Master Artifact items are added once advanced to Master Class.

  3. When you complete Prof. Pho's Growth Guide, it will still display Weapons and Armors for the next stage.

    • Even after completing all quests, the UI will not disappear.

Avatar Dyeing

  1. A system that lets you dye certain Avatar parts will be added.

    • You can use one of 30 colors from each color palette.

    • Avatar Dyeing is only possible for Noble Academy and sets released after 12/18.

    • Supported parts: Costume Weapon, Costume Top Piece, Costume Bottom Piece, Costume Gloves, Costume Shoes, Costume Suit, Costume Accessories.

    • Even for the same costumes, the number of dyeable parts may vary depending on gender and body part.

    • Costume Hair can be dyed using existing color palettes.

  2. The existing Hair Dye Shop will be expanded to Avatar Dye Shop.

  3. You can use Avatar Color Remover to revert costumes to their original state. (Hair Color Removers will continue being used for Costume Hair)

  4. Certain convenience features will be added.

    • Can now adjust preview position (up/down).

    • Added the "Show/Hide Selection" option.

    • Added the "Show/Hide My Slots" option.

Avatar Dyeing Pity System

  1. Confirmed dyeing system will be added for all Avatars, including Hair.

  2. When using color palettes to dye, Dyeing Points will be accumulated.

    • Dyeing Points will accumulate for each use of a color palette item.

    • Accumulated Dyeing Points will not reset.

    • Dyeing Points are accumulated per account.

    • Event color palette items (Luriel, Ariel, Cobo) do not accumulate Dyeing Points.

  3. You can select the desired color from the color palette using the accumulated Dyeing Points.

    • Color palette item will not be used when Dyeing Points are used.

Batch Dyeing System

  1. When [Batch Dye] is selected, the selected parts can be dyed all at once with a single color.

  2. Color palette items are consumed according to the number of selected parts.

  3. During batch dyeing, the color applied is determined based on the color of the highest-priority selected part. (You cannot roll the current highest-priority color)

    • Example A: If colors for parts A, B, C are selected, part A color will not be rolled.

    • Example B: If colors for parts B, C are selected, part B color will not be rolled.

  4. Colors that were applied to the other parts may reappear.

    • Parts might come out with duplicate colors.

Serpentium Raid Solo Mode

  1. Stage 1 of Serpentium Raid will be changed to Solo Mode.

  2. When selecting Solo Mode, the [Dungeon Queue (F8)] button will be changed to [Dungeon Entry (F8)].

  3. Solo Mode shares progress with Stage 2 and 3.

    • For example, after clearing the first dungeon in Solo Mode, the second dungeon can be accessed via either Stage 2 or 3 (and vice versa).

  4. Solo Mode and Normal Mode share weekly drop rewards.

  5. Weekly / Repeatable Reward for Stage 1 (Solo Mode) is the same as Stage 2.

  6. You can obtain Accessory Gauge when obtaining weekly rewards in Stage 1 (Solo Mode) difficulty.

Abyss Solo Mode Improvements

  1. [All]

    • Patterns where the boss recovered HP due to failing to counter a certain mechanic will be removed.

  2. [Sunken Holy Ground] Phase 2

    • The start timing and interval of the Gate of the Abyss pattern will be adjusted.

    • The time until the Gate of the Abyss is forcibly closed will be increased.

    • The interval of the Spider Web pattern has been adjusted.

  3. [Birth of Origin]

    • Phase 1)

      • Black Hole pulling force will be reduced.

      • The Silence debuff will be removed.

    • Phase 3)

      • The interval of the Abyssal Meteor pattern will be adjusted.

      • The falling speed of Abyssal Meteors will be reduced.

      • When the King of the Abyss is in a berserk state, the pulling force of Black Hole will be reduced and the Silence debuff will be removed.

      • The interval of the Alternate Space pattern has been adjusted.

Title Count Adjustments

Additionally, the stage distinction for Overture/Concerto titles will be removed (all stages will accumulate the title count from now on.)

Atma'Ram Region Farming Improvements

  1. All new Unique Atma Magic Stones and those currently in possession will be changed to tradable during the maintenance.

  2. Unique Atma Magic Stones can now be bank-shared.

  3. When obtaining Spirit Lord's Temple weekly reward, "Brilliant Lotus World Fragment" will be obtained.

    • 45 of these can be exchanged for 1 Unique Atma Accessory Selection Cube (of a specific set) at NPC Eris in Magmelia.

Amplification Circuit Improvements

  1. When identifying I/L-Type Circuits, the first two lowest values will no longer appear.

    • Example: In the case of Active, Tenacity, Strength, Bravery Damage Increase Circuits, 0.5% and 0.6% will not appear.

    • The probability is redistributed across higher values.

  2. The ED fee required to craft an Amplification Circuit will be reduced to 200,000 ED.

  3. The number of Circuit Fragments required to craft an Amplification Circuit will be increased.

  4. Circuit Fragment max stack will be changed to 3,000.

Doom Aporia Raid Improvements

  1. Nightmare: Reset Room - Hallucination Maze pattern will be changed. 2 portals instead of 1 will be created in the three lower spots.

  2. Wilting Tower - improved to be able to obtain Dragon's Will - Mortal Weapon through Stage 1 and 2.

    • There is a difference in probability depending on difficulty.

      • The time Plegas's Heart takes to fix its position is increased.

      • Plegas's Heart groggy duration increased.

    • Phase 2)

      • The frequency of firing Orbs that increase the Overload Gauge is reduced.

      • When a monster dies, the amount of Overload Gauge refunded is increased.

      • Regenerating Plegas's groggy duration increased.

  3. [The Great Steel Wall]

    • Phase 1)

      • Type-B Vargr's groggy duration increased.

    • Phase 2)

      • The amount of Overload Gauge given to D Drake through Turret is increased.

      • D Drake's groggy duration increased.

    • Phase 3)

      • When only one of Type-L Lampery GT Hand - L/T is killed, the respawn time of that hand is increased.

      • Increased the time you can stay in Type-L Lampery GT's domain.

    • The map's structure is adjusted.

    • The water column in the boss room is changed to a jump pad.

    • Monster HP decreased.

    • Armadulla's defense decreased.

    • Exploding Plant defense decreased.

    • Queen of Gold Medovine Copy's Pillar of Light attack damage reduced.

    • Queen of Gold Medovine's damage of the following patterns reduced: Small Root, Discharge, Golden Line, Big Root.

  3. [Hunter's Hideout]

    • Monster HP decreased.

    • Shadi's defense decreased.

    • Jabberwock's Charge Attack and Poison Spit damage reduced.

  4. [Torta Arena]

    • Monster HP decreased.

    • Ricardo (mid-boss) defense decreased.

    • Champion's Dash and Lariat attack damage reduced.

    • Ricardo's Ground Shooting and Aerial Attack damage reduced.

  5. [Fabricated City]

    • Android Quality Manager Scrap Machine's defense decreased.

    • Jazz Bar Manager Android's defense decreased.

    • Sentry Android, Gentleman Android, Cart Android defense decreased.

    • Jazz Bar Manager Android's Downward Slam attack damage reduced.

    • Android Quality Manager Scrap Machine's Crusher damage is reduced and the Bleed effect is removed.

    • Android Quality Manager Scrap Machine's damage of the following attacks reduced: Spinning Attack, Crushing Fragment Attack, Electric Projectile.

    • Android Quality Manager Scrap Machine will no longer use the Mass Cleaning Initiation pattern when its HP drops below 50%.

  6. [Android Factory]

    • Monster HP decreased.

    • Giant Robot Prototype's defense decreased.

    • Incomplete Android - Type G's defense decreased.

    • Gentleman Android, Sentry Android defense decreased.

    • Giant Robot Prototype's damage of the following attacks reduced: One-Handed Slam, Two-Handed Slam, Energy Discharge.

    • Hitstun removed from Assembly's Machine Circular Spark attack.

    • Hitstun removed from Electric Discharge Machine's laser attack.

    • The power unit is improved to activate automatically after 3 seconds.

  7. [Madame Corae's Garden]

    • Monster HP decreased.

    • Madame Corae's defense decreased in all stages.

    • Madame Corae's damage of the following attacks reduced: Emple Attack, Ground Explosion, Tracking Laser, Vertical Laser.

    • In Phase 3, Madame Corae will no longer remain invincible after her HP is reduced until the forced pattern execution.

UI Improvements Revision

  1. In the Upgrade UI, if the required items are the same, all materials will be displayed within a single entry.

    • The issue where the same item was shown as separate entries during Upgrade depending on required materials has been improved.

  2. The Equipment Repair UI is improved so repair entries can be selected using the keyboard arrow keys.

  3. When ED is insufficient, the ED indicator in the Reforging UI will turn red, and the [Reforge] button will be deactivated.

Other Improvements

  1. A warning message will be added to Ariel's Special Attendance Gift UI: Rewards not received when the benefit ends cannot be obtained.

  2. Pattern images in System > Content Guide > Category menu will be removed.

  3. World map movement buttons will be improved.

    • A button description UI is added to the button that moves from the regional map to the world map.

    • A button description UI is added to the button that moves to the Elrios / Demon Realm map.

    • A button description UI is added to the Cobo Transportation Service button.

  4. When hovering the mouse over an NPC on the regional map, a list of menus provided by that NPC will be displayed.

    • Free +11 Stage 5 Submergence of Abyss - Phantom Weapon (temporary, can be made permanent with a series of quests)

      • These quests have been relaxed compared to the previous iteration.

  3. 20 extra Secret Dungeon rewards

  4. Quadruple EXP for players with 350 El Resonance Level or lower

    • Gather Senpai Points by helping junior adventurers clear specific dungeons

    • 6 rounds, for each round top 500 players will be awarded with 3x [Luriel] Core Data Backup Module based on Senpai Points

    • Weekly reward (various items) for senior adventurers (can redeem 12 times at max)

  7. Avatar Dyeing Trial Event

    • Free [Cobo] Noble Academy avatar and an Avatar Color Palette from the login timer.

  8. Special EP Shop

    • Special bait available: drops various items during Fishing

    • An additional page in the EP Shop with various progression items

the meta/progression railroading is getting a bit pushy. especially when most means of enhancing are still rando-stat gambles.

i’m actually a bit okay with at least the new skills only filling up the empty slots before we have 8 actual useable skills and not replacing any already there, but i’m also the person who organizes skills based on category/mp use, so this also bothers me to an extent.

making the spouts send us up faster while still being able to exit them would have been preferable to a total removal, but eh, that’s fine too.
now how ‘bout actually nerfing the pests’ heal and damage reflect gimmicks? the actual worst parts of that dungeon. the parts that, like the elixir effects in heroics, reveals how ass defense is handled overall in this game. at least to lessening the severity of the effects they have.

of course, but might as well not level cap the erp bonuses for events at this point.

still will need to see what new phoru’s like, but seems to be mostly good changes overall.
