Lord Azoth Guide
by NyanLove
Last update: Jun 1, 2026, 8:38 AM
Lord Azoth (LA) is a Support DPS who can supply the team with various effects like Defense Reduction, and provides Quick Slot Cooldown Reduction - an effect unique to her. She is also capable of inflicting decent damage in the right environment.
Pros
Strong buffs and debuffs along with a unique Quick Slot CDR effect.
Gameplay is easy to understand.
Cons
Difficult to master as a main DPS.
Slow casting times leading to DPS on the lower end.
Homunculus is buggy.
This guide explains her base mechanics and provides some useful tips.
Arche System
After unlocking this passive on Level 15, an indicator will appear on the screen.
It is divided into 3 types: Aer (Blue), Mater (Yellow) and Merus (Purple).
Each time Lord Azoth's skills are used, the Arche gauge increases for the respective type depending on the skill. When the gauge reaches 100 points, the related passive will activate, granting buffs and debuffs as specified.
Lord Azoth’s skill cycle is very basic. Use any skill to fill the Arche gauge and receive various buffs and debuffs for maximum effectiveness.
Supplement Aura constantly refills Aer and Mater.
Each skill is assigned to one of the three Arche types:
Aer: Drop Poising, Pouring Beads, Melting Point, Sparkler Body, Poisoning Risk, [Mod] Lightning Bolt: Papyrus
Mater: Sparkler Wave, Spectacular, Silver Tree, Sparkler Spin, Detecting Gem, Fermentation, Enough Mineral
Merus: Mystic Flask, Homunculus, Refined, Envelopes, [Mod] Gust Storm: Golden Tripod
At the start, you don't need to worry about the Merus gauge, because your passives only use Aer and Mater.
Homunculus and Mystic Flask

Disclaimer
Many players underestimate the true value of these skills. In some cases, not all instructions need to be followed, so use your own judgment.
These two skills are interconnected after you unlock Homunculus’s Support.
Homunculus summons a small Kyubei-like entity that helps you attack monsters. You’ll gain a special effect when its attacks hit.
Its HP is equal to three times the caster’s HP.
There are three colors of Homunculus corresponding to Arche types. Its attack pattern is different in each mode.

You can change the color by pressing the skill button again. It cycles like this:
White > Blue > Yellow > White > [Loop]
The first Homunculus summoned will always be white.
Moving on, Mystic Flask creates potions that will appear on the ground around you. There are 4 types of potions that can be created at random, each with a different effect.
White - Critical Damage Increase (multiplicative to your stats). This is a helpful offensive buff.
Blue - Continuous MP Recovery. This is useful as a mana reserve in current party formations that mostly include only one healer.
Yellow - Super Armor
Purple - short Confusion debuff (reverses movement keys). This might be lethal in some cases, but it can be cleansed.
Flasks will linger for a while after spawning. They do not disappear when stepped into, except for the purple one.
Homunculus’s Support further improves both skills by making the summon generate respective Arche when successfully hitting and providing you with an ability to select the flask’s color corresponding to the active Homunculus mode. Purple Flask cannot appear in this state. Keep in mind that if Homunculus fails to hit an enemy, no Arche will be provided.
White Homunculus grants Merus, Blue - Aer and Yellow - Mater.
Since there aren’t many Merus skills, making the Homunculus white for as long as possible is essential for maintaining its Arche gauge. Aer and Mater are handled by Supplement Aura.
If Homunculus runs out mid-animation while casting Mystic Flask, it will not take effect, causing the Flask generated to be random.
Known bug: Homunculus can sometimes expire right after being summoned for some reason. The skill also enters cooldown, forcing you to wait until it is available again.
Gameplay Tips
Lord Azoth’s Cooldown utility: Sparkler Body
In addition to accelerating cooldowns, this skill also increases Attack and Poisons nearby opponents, complementing her passives. Use it whenever possible.
Mineral Expressway: (Never) Enough Mineral
In the non-mod version of this skill, all party members, including the caster, receive a Movement and Jump Speed Increase while inside the skill’s area of effect. If cast while the user is enlarged, the area is further expanded.
However, this effect can also be a disadvantage, so careful positioning is recommended.
Refining The Art of Defense: Refined
Always use this skill before dealing damage to debuff enemies with an unconditional Defense Decrease.
Coloring Flask: 3 varieties of Mystic Flask
White is the most important one to keep up; however, your party will love the other two buffs if you can manage them.
"Great success sometimes comes from small things that are often overlooked."
Abusing a big tall guy: Pouring Beads
This skill lives or dies by the boss’s height. The taller the boss, the more damage it deals. Ensure proper positioning to get the most out of it.
An example of proper usage is shown HERE.
Warning: this skill incurs significant FPS drops. Please use with caution.
Summary
Mastering Lord Azoth is not just about building the Arche gauge. Properly using each type of Mystic Flask depending on the situation reflects player skill, as does maximizing the use of both personal and supportive skills.
‘Know yourself (your character) and know your opponents. You stepped in the halfway of Triumph’
The same as one famous warlord in history said (in present media):
