01/04 Patch Notes - Awakening and Raid Improvements

Maintenance

• Date: January 4, 2024 (Thursday)

• Duration: 8:00 AM ~ 11:30 AM KST (3h 30min)

Awakening System Revamp

During the maintenance, the Awakening system will be revamped.

1. Characters except Add will be able to re-awaken.

2. Up to 3 Awakening beads can be charged up.

   • Charging the Awakening Gauge is not possible when there are 3 beads stored.

   • The Awakening status is not related to Awakening Gauge charge.

3. Awakening is possible up to 3 stacks.

4. The buff icon changes depending on the Awakening stage.

   • Except Ain, all characters' Awakening will be displayed in stacks up to 3 overlaps.

   • Single Awakening characters do not show any stacks when re-awakened.

5. When awakening or re-awakening, all currently stored beads are consumed.

6. When re-awakening, if the current level is lower than 3, the Awakening stage will increase based on the amount of beads consumed.

   • If you are in stage 1 and have 1 bead, re-awakening puts you into stage 2.

   • If you are in stage 1 and have 2 beads, re-awakening puts you into stage 3.

7. When re-awakening in or into the 3rd stage, 3rd stage related effects will be activated.

8. The default maximum Awakening duration for all characters is changed to 90 seconds, except Add.

   • It can exceed the maximum due to certain effects and stats.

9. Forced Awakening is applied the same way as consuming 1 bead.

   • E.g. Natal Chart, Onion Guild Food, etc.

Varnimyr and Pruinaum Raid Normal Mode Improvements

1. Removed the limit of progress reset attempts.

2. [Quest] Reset Ticket reward count increased from 1 to 3.

3. Varnimyr Raid patterns are relaxed.

   • [Never-Ending Darkness]

     • Crimson Eye and Dark Observer are improved to act immediately, even if the cutscene was skipped.

     • Crimson Eye rotation pattern damage dealt is decreased.

     • Crimson Eye will be stunned after being hit by only 3 thorn attacks.

4. Pruinaum Raid patterns are relaxed.

   • [Altar of Invocation]

     • Berthe / Berserk Berthe: the number of 'Seal' stacks required for the boss to howl is changed from 3 to 6.

     • Damage dealt by Annihilator during Laser, Soul Orb Release and Massive Soul Orb Release is decreased.

Improved Tutorial UI

During the maintenance, the tutorial UI when creating new characters will be improved for Elsword ~ Noah.

Events

Weekly Attendance Event

• Duration: January 4 ~ February 29

• Target: Characters lv. 10 or higher, per account

• Details: You can obtain various rewards after staying logged in for at least 30 minutes during the event for 8 weeks.

Cumulative Attendance Event

Depending on the total amount of participants in the Weekly Attendance Event, additional rewards will be issued. (On the second, fourth and sixth week)

Powerful Punch Master & Break the Limit! - Powerful Punch Master

• Duration: January 4 ~ February 1

• Target: Characters lv. 99, per account

• Details:

  • Base Event: During the event period, complete daily missions and achieve Combat Power for rewards.

  • Break the Limit: If you are an adventurer with at least 1.5 million Combat Power, you can obtain even more rewards by completing additional missions and by increasing your Combat Power further.

Punch Master Burning!

• Duration: January 4 ~ February 1

• Target: Powerful Punch Master / Break the Limit! - Powerful Punch Master event participants

• Details: Characters who participate in the Punch Master events will obtain a +11 weapon Enhancement buff and 20% Adaptation. (The effect does not apply in Challenge Mode and PvP)

Generosity for the Winter Sprouts!

• Duration: January 4 ~ February 1

• Target: All characters (per account)

• Details: You can obtain generous rewards like [CoBo] Pet Selection Cube, [CoBo] Philosopher Scrolls or 1 Special El Resonance Potion Selection Cube.
  Also, a [CoBo] Winter Sprout Gift Cube will be issued to your inventory.

Winter Burning Event

• Duration: January 4 ~ February 1

• Target: All characters below level 99 and El Resonance level 300

• Details: Adventurers below 300 El Resonance will receive triple EXP during the event period.

Job Change Opportunity

• Duration: January 4 ~ January 18

• Target: All characters with level 10 or higher, per account

• Details: Each week, you can obtain job change and attack type swap tickets. (Can be received once more on January 11)

Cash Shop Update

1. Reorder Shop - All ElStar packages (Elsword ~ Noah), Custom Sit Motion: Red Carpet (Elsword ~ Noah)

   

2. Lithia's new avatar: MAZE, Alter Crown, Mega Cake, ElStar Trainee, Custom Sit Motion: Signing Event, ElStar Dance Motions

   

Fixes & Improvements

Character

1. Elsword, Aisha, Raven, Eve and Chung hand/foot size improved in certain costumes.

2. Dius Aer - the quick slot will no longer be affected when using [Mod] Brave Cover.

3. Dominator - fixed Neutron Bomb damage not applying correctly.

4. Lithia:

   • Fixed the Tenebrous Equipment not being able to be registered into the Magic Wardrobe.

   • An issue where the [Gem Skill] effect is not applied properly between the host and non-host is fixed.
     * We are currently checking for more host-related issues. If you know of any, please inform us through a ticket.

   • Fixed Power Strength and Guard Strength not being cast properly when a time stop occurred.

   • Fixed the Transcendence skill slot buff not applying to Stoning Bomb.

Dungeon

1. Certain bug fixes of Lithia dungeons.

2. Altar of Invocation - fixed "CLEAR" displaying even though the boss did not die.

3. Birth of Origin Phase 2 - fixed Spatial Connection displaying abnormally when the cutscene was skipped.

4. GOGO! El Rider - fixed the speed acceleration effect applying abnormally.

5. Since Prof. Pho requires you to play through Secret Dungeons, to ensure smoothness of progression, the Secret Dungeon entry limit is lifted. However, you will only be able to receive rewards 5 times per week from all Secret Dungeons.

6. Challenge Mode - fixed the cutscene remaining for some time when it was being skipped during Recluse [Fire] / Recluse [Demon].

Item

1. The stats of the leveling equipment provided via the Epic Quests are increased.

2. Fixed Prof. Pho's Rigomor Armor being able to get dismantled.

Pets, Mounts

1. An issue where not being able to trigger Encouragement when summoning pets is fixed.

Other

1. Fixed the issue where opening the pet inventory in the practice room waiting room caused an 'Unknown Error' message.

2. Fixed the problem where the temporary inventory UI and market information UI overlapped when using the exchange.

3. Fixed the issue where the temporary inventory UI and item selling UI overlapped when using the shop.

4. Fixed the problem where clicking the 'Hide My Avatar' button after previewing a dyed hair avatar in the market would display the pre-dyed colors.

5. Fixed the issue where closing the dialogue window with the X button after clicking on NPC Ariel's El House during a conversation left the El House window visible.

6. Fixed the problem where a different image from the official Noah 4th path 2nd job change illustration on the homepage was applied in-game.

7. Fixed the issue where the tutorial during town progression did not display correctly when the UI size was not at its default value.

8. Fixed the problem where all the names of the Lithia sub-dungeons were displayed in the appropriate level dungeon clear message.

9. Due to the revamp of stats, 'Accuracy' and 'Evasion' will be removed from all leftover places.

10. Fixed the issue where the skill preview video in the character creation window was not displayed.

11. Fixed the problem where the notification symbol effect for items scheduled for deletion was not displayed correctly.

12. Adjusted the interactive UI closer to the screen to be displayed more prominently.

13. Fixed the issue where, in specific situations, when socketing equipment with Magic Stones, the window for enchanting with Blue Mystic Stones would also open.

14. Fixed the problem where quests that cannot be performed in the Lithia sub-dungeons were incorrectly marked as achievable.
