Developer Notes

During the maintenance on August 17, 2023 (Thu) a new Monaterra region - giant boss dungeon 'Steel Fortress' - will be added.
The titles obtained from 'Steel Fortress' are based on a different standard compared to existing titles.
As the effects have already been decided, we would like to briefly explain this choice.

First of all, when adventurers play raid content, the titles and equipment worn by main support characters feel relatively unreasonable compared to characters in other positions.

The new title includes all-in-one support effects made to alleviate this issue.
Implementation of these options will differ from the existing titles that decrease Defense and Elemental Resistance (Reaper, Shadow's Descent, Festival, etc.)
This time, the effect will no longer overlap with Defense Decrease from Elrianode shoes applied through command attacks.

We hope that it will fix the events of wearing titles and equipment that are not intended for certain roles.

In addition, even after the release of the new title, if these problematic resources are still used, we will patch them in the future.
We are considering applying numerical adjustments to titles and equipment that is not intended to be used in endgame dungeons.
If there are any related adjustments, we will let you know.

New Giant Boss - 'Steel Fortress'

Assisted by the Torta Dream Demons, the 'Steel Fortress' has finally risen.

• A new giant boss dungeon 'Steel Fortress' in the Monaterra region will be added.

• Existing Rigomor area 'Titan's Grotto' will always be open. Free clear possible 5 times a day (resets at 10 AM everyday).

• You cannot receive the 'Heroes Assemble' buff and cannot ride mounts.

• Not affected by Item Drop Rate increase stats.

• You can use the 'Steel Fortress Key' to additionally enter during the time 'Steel Fortress' is active.

UI Further Improvements

1. In the socketing window, the 'Equip' button will be modified so that it no longer covers the effect of the last equipped magic stone.

2. When logging in after changing a character, the first page of the inventory will be displayed instead of the page the other character was viewing.

3. A batch identification function will be added to the 'Harconium Steel Reactor' items.

4. The contents of the window can be moved using the mouse scroll in the Party List / Party Application UI.

5. You can also use the mouse scroll to browse dungeon / region lists in the Party List Creation UI.

Events

New Giant Boss Update

Clear 5 matching level dungeons to obtain rewards daily. These include 2x Giant Boss Title Count Medals (Titan's Grotto or Plegas's Labyrinth), title Attack of the Steel Machine (7 Days), Spectral Amethyst or Tenebrous Energy Selection Cube. (1 reward per day)
There will be 2 weekly quests that give you 3 '[Luriel] Steel Fortress Key' (up to 6 can be obtained).

Powerful Punch Master

Clear a series of quests and obtain rewards based on CP.
Obtain +10 '[Ariel] Flames of Judgement - Demonic Weapon' that can be converted into +9 '[Ariel] Vestige of Soul - Weapon of Requiem'.

Don't worry, just level up!

You can rapidly level up a character by obtaining '[CoBo] Philosopher Scroll' and '3rd Job Advancement Ticket'.

Character

1. Rune Master - fixed [Mod] Critical Sword duration being different than stated in the tooltip.

2. Ara:

   • Improved the volume of some voices in the character selection screen.

   • Fixed the problem where Awakening time stop was longer than +0.3 seconds.

3. Luciel:

   • Fixed [Enhanced] Stomp tooltip not mentioning Movement / Jump Speed Decrease.

   • Fixed Soul Infest, [Enhanced] Soul Infest tooltips not mentioning Movement / Action Speed Decrease.

4. Opferung - fixed being able to hit enemies behind when using the >>XXXX command.

Dungeon / PvP / Field

1. [Story Mode] Altar of Invocation Phase 1 - fixed the 'Gold Seal' debuff not applying under certain circumstances.

2. Fixed awkward mid-boss Shadi appearance in 'Hunter's Hideout' / 'Torta Arena'.

3. Patched accidental movement restrain in some places in 'Hunter's Hideout'.

4. Fixed awkward graphics of the mid-boss / boss Ricardo in 'Torta Arena'.

5. The problem of not clearing 'Torta Arena' after killing the boss under certain circumstances will be corrected.

Other

1. Fixed Laby quest 'Path of the Strongest 1/5' description being different than the actual requirement.

   • Before change: Clear Northern and Central Fluone dungeons 5 times and prove your skills to Camilla!

   • After change: Clear Northern Fluone dungeons 5 times and prove your skills to Camilla!

2. When leveling up a new character, a notification about unlocking an already obtained shared title will be displayed accordingly.

3. When MP reaches 0 through continuous MP depleting effects such as the 'Portable Energy Coil' accessory, Force Ability skill icons will no longer be exposed as inactive.

4. Fixed being able to obtain more than 2 'Intense Energy' in certain dungeons for the quest 'Path of the Strongest 2/5'.

5. Community UI performance optimization is in progress.

6. The dungeon interaction (ex. Birth of Origin Phase 3 F4) can now be assigned a hotkey.

   • The F1 button is enabled to set hotkeys.

   • The dungeon interaction button will now occupy F1 by default.

   • The emblem summoning function will be moved to the list at the bottom of the keyboard settings.

7. 'Shadow's Descent' tooltip improved. When hit, decrease Elemental Resistance by 20 for 7 seconds (5 stacks) → On every hit

8. When setting the transparency of the chat window UI in dungeons, the issue where it resets after clearing a stage will be fixed.

9. Fixed not moving to the Item Mall upon clicking the button 'Customization Purchase' in the Customization UI.

10. Corrected an issue where a customization's name was displaying differently while not being able to assign effects to it when clicking 'Reset'.

11. Fixed dead party member portrait being active in the Sparring > Team Death Match.

12. The size of the right-click menu on the character UI (add party member / add search party member / add striker party member) is improved.

13. Fixed characters being invisible when riding mounts while changing jobs.

14. Fixed Tenebrous Equipment being possible to wear in Sparring under certain circumstances.

15. Corrected the problem where the remaining time of the 'VIP CoBo Area Transfer' service was not displayed.

16. Patched an issue where one couldn't drag items from page 11 to page 13 in the inventory.

17. An issue where unequipping equipment or avatars from a character would show them as new items acquired in the inventory will be fixed.

18. The priority of items used for Pet Auto Feed has been changed.
