Developer Notes

Today, we will inform you about content improved with this maintenance.

After receiving the feedback from the dungeon-oriented Q&A, after a testing period, we decided to apply an update related to gear replacement.
The cooldown is removed when replacing equipment, and the conditions are also improved. Now you can not only change gear when in standby state, but also when moving, dashing and jumping.

During the offline event, adventurers pointed out a phenomenon where skills could not be used after clearing a sub-stage.
We've reviewed this matter and you can now summon before and after the curtain is broken.

When playing through dungeons, certain skill effects are interfering with gameplay. Optimizations have been applied to some skills.
While there is no skill form change in this patch, the FX might be slightly different than before for some of them.

We also want to improve the experience of not receiving any items when clearing Abyss Raid.
At least one Abyssal Magic Stone / Abyssal Energy Purifier / Accessory Cube (except Birth of Origin) will drop from the final phase unconditionally.

Also, certain uncomfortable elements of Steel Fortress have been changed, such as the HP bars not being properly separated in phase 3, the function of turrets in phase 2, the action speed of drones in phase 3, etc.

Lastly, as announced on 07/20 (Thu), we're planning to change the names of guilds that suffer from long inactivity.

Abyss Raid Story Mode & Improvements

1. Abyss Raid Story Mode is added.

   • Rewards can be obtained by defeating the last phase of each dungeon. When you click 'Receive' in the Story Mode UI, the Abyss Purification gauge will increase and you will receive extra Abyssal Purifiers. (However, when the gauge reaches 100%, you cannot obtain Abyssal Energy Purification Cube)

   • Does not count for title and weapon progress.

   • There is no Resurrection Stone restriction.

   • Entry condition: 2 ~ 4 people of Lv. 99, 3rd Job or higher, with at least 2.5M CP

2. The Abyssal Mystic Stone drop rate is improved.

   • When defeating the boss monster of each dungeon in the last phase, a guaranteed Abyssal Mystic Stone or Abyssal Purifier is granted. (For dungeons except Birth of Origin, an Accessory Cube drop is also included in the pool.)

Giant Boss: Steel Fortress improvements

1. During Phase 1, when the HP of the Boss reaches 0, the transition to the next phase will be applied faster.

2. Dialogue UI adjusted not to excessively cover the Boss HP Bar.

3. HP UIs for Phase 1 and 3 are improved.

4. Targeting speed when boarding the Turret is improved.

5. In Phase 2, you can fire continuously when holding down the Z, X, C keys.

6. Phase 3 - when the Charge pattern occurs, the drones finish their action and disappear.

7. Additionally, during the Charge pattern, the drones are faster.

8. Phase 3 - when the boss initiates the Condensation phase or hides during the Charge pattern, its movement will be sped up.

9. The wait time for the Charge pattern to change the color will be increased.

Guild Name Change Notice

Guilds that fulfil the below conditions will have their name changed during this maintenance.

• The guild name is changed to a random name.

• You can change the name for free once in such case.

1. All guilds that have all member inactivity longer than 3 years will have their names changed.

2. The condition applies by character, not by the whole account. (In order to prevent this, you must login on the character that is specifically in the guild.)

UI Improvements

1. The Random Mission and Resurrection UIs will be improved during this maintenance.

Character

1. Immortal:

   • Sword Fall sound effect is improved to be consistent.

   • [Mod] Infinity Chaser - fixed PvP buff duration on the tooltip.

     • Before) Duration: 10 sec.

     • After) Duration: 5 sec.

2. Rune Master - fixed Rune Field PvP tooltip incorrect value.

   • Before) Magical Attack Increase: 2.5%

   • After) Magical Attack Increase: 2%

3. Genesis - Dies Irae skill effect optimized for performance.

4. Lord Azoth - Silver Tree, [Mod] Silver Tree skill effect optimized for performance.

5. Add - added missing content to the tooltip of [Enhanced] Particle Accelerator.

   • Added) Upon Awakening, the maximum number of Dynamo Mutation Points used increases by 1.

6. Dominator - fixed Install - Drone Activator's defense decrease effect in PvP showing up in Attack Support for enemies instead.

7. LuCiel - when equipping/replacing equipment in dungeons, it will apply to the representative character immediately without additionally opening the character window.

8. Rose - fixed 2nd Job Transcendence skills from other paths being exposed on Reforge skill selection windows.

9. Morpheus - [Mod] Tower of Silence skill effect optimized for performance.

Dungeon / PvP / Field

1. An issue where the energy monsters don't move under certain circumstances during the Desert Café Event Dungeon is fixed.

2. A problem where the teleport effect is displayed abnormally during Tree of El is fixed.

3. An issue where effects are abnormally displayed in Palace of Gold Medovine is fixed.

4. The problem where the floor terrain of Torta Arena disappears and becomes invisible under certain conditions will be fixed.

5. An issue where Petrify is applied abnormally in Phase 2 of Steel Fortress is fixed.

6. An issue where characters can't move under certain circumstances during Phase 3 will be fixed.

7. An issue where hits cannot be registered during certain positions of Phase 3 of Steel Fortress is fixed.

8. An issue where characters are not teleported to the boss location under certain circumstances in Phase 3 Steel Fortress will be fixed.

9. Summon related skills can now be freely used during sub-stage progressions.

10. An issue where Hadron appears abnormally during Phase 2 of Savage's White-Ghost Castle will be fixed.

11. An issue where the name of the starting animation is displayed in Palace of Gold Medovine is fixed.

Item

1. An issue where an incorrect message pops up when using the House Contract item will be fixed.

2. The tooltip for Soulmate Under Vows Hair will be corrected when entering the Item Mall.

3. An issue where the Ice Burner UI was displayed as if using the DIY El House is fixed.

Other

1. An issue where an incorrect message is displayed for certain Hyper Active Skills while the The One Who Yearns Synergy is active will be fixed.

2. An issue where Physical / Magical Attack Power increased by 1% for every 8% of Damage Reduction is applied abnormally will be fixed.

3. A problem where certain situations result in no sound effects when clicking on the UI using the mouse cursor will be fixed.

4. The tooltip for the Magic Stone Socketing UI for 'Auto Equip' will be adjusted to prevent overlap.

5. An issue where unequipping the custom motion from a package containing it was also causing the costume to be removed is fixed.

6. An issue where the Guild Name Change Card is not immediately used upon purchase from the Item Mall is fixed.

7. An issue where connected/disconnected message from party members wasn't appearing in the Community UI will be fixed.

8. An issue where, under certain circumstances, the Couples Effect would be displayed by Soulmates is fixed.

9. The tooltip for Skill Reset options on armors will have better wording.

10. An issue where it was possible to equip certain items that shouldn't be equippable under certain circumstances is fixed.

11. A problem where incorrect text would be displayed for items in the Pet Inventory will be fixed.

12. An issue where dragging the same item from inventory to character/artifact UI did not make the items switch places will be fixed.

13. A problem where changing the El House under specific circumstances resulted in the game closing will be fixed.

14. Pop-ups in the El House will have updated UI.

15. A problem where the Pet Auto Consumption settings would not be saved under certain circumstances will be fixed.
