Hello, this is the Elsword Team.
We would like to inform you about some questions regarding bug fixes in the recently applied patch in order to answer the inquiries we have received through Customer Service.
1. The problem where items could be immediately replaced by dragging the mouse cursor while attacking
Currently, switching gear during fights in Elsword has a cooldown. This cooldown is necessary to prevent equipment stats from desynchronizing and to avoid potential timing issues.
However, this state has been in effect for a very long time. Correcting the bug has affected the gameplay of adventurers who unknowingly used it. It was considered a significant problem as damage would not always be reflected correctly. Therefore, the bug was fixed by applying the same cooldown when dragging the item as when double clicking.
We apologize for not providing sufficient explanation at the time of fixing the bug. We are aware that it has impacted gameplay and are preparing additional measures to minimize the aftermath caused by this problem.
Considering the desynchronization issues, completely removing the cooldown when switching equipment is difficult. However, we are considering reducing it. We will keep you informed when the improvement is ready.
2. Regarding the HP nerf of Raid boss monsters due to the modification of Continuous Damage
We have determined that the total damage inflicted by each party member was abnormally affected by this option. Therefore, we made efforts to not increase the difficulty level of raids, and decreased the HP by 30%.
After the patch and once the +13 compensation buff has ended, we have confirmed that the majority of party play timers remain the same as before the bug was fixed.
However, for Raid Challenge mode, additional adjustments are being considered.
In the future, we will ensure to provide explanations for changes that have a significant impact on gameplay. Additionally, if the explanation is not sufficient, we will continue to guide adventurers through additional notices, even after the patch.
We sincerely apologize to adventurers for the disappointment caused and the lack of communication in identifying and resolving these problems.
