Hello. This is a letter from Lee Dong-shin.
I would like to share information and address some questions regarding the upcoming updates.
We announced that the next Balance Patch will be carried out on March 27th for clarity and to alleviate the issue of indefinite waiting times. The next Balance Patch will happen in July, and while this might feel distant, we actually cannot proceed much quicker due to upcoming gameplay updates. However, if there are any significant issues, we will review them individually and adjust them.
When making Balance Patches, we comprehensively assess gameplay patterns, data, and user feedback. We are fully aware that individual feedback might not be in line with our changes.
We will thoroughly review your feedback posted in the Balance Discussion Forum on the official website between Feb 6 and Feb 19 in preparation for the Balance Patch in March. Sharing opinions of your main character would be immensely appreciated, as we are seeking for individual data.
Overall Direction of the March 27th Balance Patch
We always carefully consider changes that feel like nerfs, be it in damage, skill structure or party synergy. Our focus is on improving as many characters as possible. Regarding your feedback about new content (new Mod skills, accessory slot separation, Serpentium Raid changes and additions), please note that it can be reflected only after necessary data verification has been concluded.
Serpentium Raid Accessory
We are planning to make a weekly-based gauge system. However, we will not be taking into account any of your previous Raid clears to make it fair for everyone. Additionally, to ease experience of the new Raid released on Feb 6, we will provide a 60-day temporary version of the Serpentium Raid accessories to all players who log in. This duration matches the time it takes to drop one guaranteed accessory.
Season Pass
Many players have expressed regrets over the Season Pass ending now that a new Raid is being added. We decided to extend the current Season Pass up to Feb 27, and the Season Pass Mark will be valid until that date as well.
Future Season Passes will follow the same update intervals but will be continuous.
New accessories and the future of Ice Burners
As previously announced, accessory slots will be split to general and Ice Burner. Thus, a new type of accessories will be sold at the EP Shop.
The new accessories posses useful PvE stats, such as Adaptation.
Regarding the Ice Burner pity system and Ice Burner cycles, we plan to maintain the status quo.
Equipment updates
Updates to armor and weapons will not significantly deviate from past patterns. Timelines are determined based on acquisition data and content difficulty, though adjustments may occur based on adventurer feedback.
Offline Events
Details of offline events, if possible to organize, will be announced through the official website as always.
