Developer Notes
We would like to inform you of the upcoming Ice Burner revamp scheduled to be updated on August 14, 2024.
[Ice Burner Revamp]
The value of Ice Burner items changes with every content update.
We have decided that the difficulty of obtaining certain parts of Ice Burners needs to be improved, so we plan to revamp them.
First of all, it is judged to be difficult to make any positive changes without increasing the item's price, which has been fixed for a long time.
Overall components will be changed, and the chances for obtaining Ice Burner parts will be increased.
Additionally, we added a system that makes you able to obtain a guaranteed Ice Burner part through IB Points.
The Ice Burner item price will be increased from 900 won to 1500 won (+67%).
A small QoL is being applied to the inventory again - all Ice Burner rewards will be stored in a dedicated tab.
1) IB Points
Introducing IB Points to resolve the issue of purely relying on probability.
When exchanging IB Points, you can select the avatar/accessory part you want.
IB Points can be obtained via Ice Burners, and the amount acquired depends on the tier of the item awarded.
(Ex. you earn more IB Points when looting a C tier item.)
Once 100% IB Points are reached, you can choose one of the Ice Burner avatars or accessories.
IB Points are obtained on account basis and are reset each IB season (approx. 3 months).
IB Points cannot be obtained from additional cubes.
(Ex. when purchasing a 1+1 package, 1 "IB with points" and 1 "IB without points" are obtained.)
2) Changed IB components and increased success rates
The probabilities and components of IBs will be generally improved. Items that do not match their value and are inefficient under current content standards will be removed, and new components will be added.
Additionally, the probabilities for IB avatars and accessory parts will be generally increased.
With the addition of a guaranteed acquisition system through IB Points, the existing crafting material items will be removed, and crafting accessories will be added as one of the IB components.

3) Dedicated inventory tab for Ice Burner items
All items obtained from using the IB will be improved to be received in a dedicated inventory.
This aims to improve the inconvenience caused by insufficient inventory space when using the Ice Burners.
Restocking is not possible upon release, and the inventory can be used account-wide.
[Exascale Set Effect Improvement]
The Exascale Armor set effects were intended to provide adventurers with a variety of effects in addition to increasing general stats, offering options that fit their character’s position and playstyle.
However, it has been observed that the conditions to smoothly receive the set effects and the differing play patterns of each character have caused inconvenience in usability and set selection.
To address these issues, we aim to alleviate the conditions and demerits for activating the effects as much as possible, and to prevent patterns that could produce excessive effects contrary to the intended gameplay, the following improvements will be implemented:
First, the condition for triggering some effects of Operate (Red) and Restore (Green) by using 'Master Skill/Hyper Active Skill' will be provided through a separate [Item Special Function] key, allowing adventurers to efficiently activate effects at their desired timing.
For the Operate (Red) effect, considering the difficulty of managing stacks and the play patterns of characters that cannot benefit from the Logic effect, the stack reduction effect will be removed. The mechanism will be adjusted so that stacked Logic effects can be removed when needed, mitigating the demerit received from the Reset effect. In line with the intended design for characters to generally benefit from the effect, the damage increase effect of Master Skill/Hyper Active Skill has been shifted to Reset, and its duration has been changed to a continuous form.
Operate (Red)Before After - Adaptation +2% - Party Critical Damage +10% (Cannot be overlapped) Whenever Strength or Bravery skill is used, gain 1 stack of 'Logic' for 30 seconds (can hold up to 40 stacks). Whenever Active or Tenacity skill is used, lose 1 stack of 'Logic'. When 'Logic' reaches 40 stacks, it's changed to 'Derivation' that ends when Hyper Active or Master Skill is used. When the 'Derivation' effect ends, it's changed to the 'Reset' effect for 5 seconds. - 'Logic': Attack +0.5% per stack - 'Derivation': Hyper Active / Master Skill Damage +500%. Cannot obtain 'Logic' stacks. - 'Reset': Damage Received +50%, Recovery Item Effect -50%. Cannot obtain 'Logic' stacks. - Adaptation +2% - Party Critical Damage +10% (Cannot be overlapped) Whenever Strength or Bravery skill is used, gain 1 stack of 'Logic' for 30 seconds (can hold up to 40 stacks). When 'Logic' reaches 40 stacks, 'Derivation' is activated. - 'Logic': Attack +0.5% per stack - 'Derivation': when [Item Special Function] is used, all 'Logic' stacks are removed and changed to a 'Reset' effect for 5 seconds. - 'Reset': Hyper Active/Master Skill Damage +500%. Recovery Item Effect -50%. Cannot obtain 'Logic' stacks. Circulate (Blue) was designed to temporarily maximize the skill cooldown reset effect, commonly referred to as the "reset effect" by adventurers, and then apply a demerit.
However, when the skill cooldown reset probability reduction of Resistance was combined with typical skill cooldown reset setups, it was perceived as a negative experience that conflicted with the configured circuit options.
Since the set's main feature is the skill cooldown reset effect, and players choose the set for this effect, the skill cooldown reset probability reduction effect of Resistance has been removed.
Circulate (Blue)Before After - Adaptation +2% - Party Critical Damage +10% (Cannot be overlapped) Skill cooldown reset activation will alternate between 'Flow' and 'Resistance'. Every time the effect is changed, it lasts for 30 seconds or until replaced by the other effect. - 'Flow': Max MP +40, Skill Cooldown Reset Chance +10%, All Skill Damage -5% - 'Resistance': MP Usage +5%, Skill Cooldown Reset Chance -5%, All Skill Damage +12% - Adaptation +2% - Party Critical Damage +10% (Cannot be overlapped) Skill cooldown reset activation will alternate between 'Flow' and 'Resistance'. Every time the effect is changed, it lasts for 30 seconds or until replaced by the other effect. - 'Flow': Max MP +40, Skill Cooldown Reset Chance +10%, All Skill Damage -5% - 'Resistance': MP Usage +5%, All Skill Damage +12% The Complete effect of the Restore (Green) set induces a temporary skill burst for party members, excluding the user. However, due to different play patterns of each character, this effect has become ineffective for some characters.
Based on feedback regarding the negative experience from those not benefiting from the effect, the Complete effect will be changed to activate on "Transcendence Skill Slot registered skills."
Additionally, to prevent unintended gameplay in party settings where this effect is crucial, the Complete buff will be adjusted so that it cannot be reapplied for 60 seconds after activation. (Cooldown is shared among party members.)
Restore (Green)Before After - Adaptation +2% - Party's Magical Attack +10% (Cannot be overlapped) - Party's Physical Attack +10% (Cannot be overlapped) When the dungeon starts, gain a 'Repair' buff for 60 seconds. When 'Repair' ends, it's replaced with 'Bridge'. While 'Bridge' is active, using Hyper Active or Master Skill will change it to 'Complete' for 5 seconds. Once it ends, it will go back to 'Repair' for 60 seconds. - 'Repair': Damage Received -12% - 'Bridge': Grants a shield equal to 30% of Max HP to allies, excluding yourself, in the surrounding area once. (Shield Duration: 10 seconds) - 'Complete': Bravery Skill Cooldown of allies, excluding yourself, is reduced to 1 second for 5 seconds. - Adaptation +2% - Party's Magical Attack +10% (Cannot be overlapped) - Party's Physical Attack +10% (Cannot be overlapped) When the dungeon starts, gain a 'Repair' buff for 60 seconds. When 'Repair' ends, it's replaced with 'Bridge'. While 'Bridge' is active, using [Item Special Function] will change it to 'Complete' for 5 seconds. Once it ends, it will go back to 'Repair' for 60 seconds. - 'Repair': Damage Received -12% - 'Bridge': Grants a shield equal to 30% of Max HP to allies, excluding yourself, in the surrounding area once. (Shield Duration: 10 seconds) - 'Complete': Skill Cooldown of skills registered into Transcendence Skill Slots of allies, excluding yourself, is reduced to 1 second for 5 seconds. (Cooldown: 60 sec.)
