Overview
The Balance Patch can be found [here].
The criteria for selecting characters for the Balance Patch on June 22 (Thu) are as follows.
This PvP Balance Patch is directed towards characters with a higher win rate in official matches. We've read adventurers' opinions voiced through the Balance Forum throughout, and set the standard according to them.
Some drastic adjustments will be made for characters who were mentioned in a lot of comments.
In addition, some passives will receive the Dungeon/PvP separation on stats if they are not yet separated.
The patch will be carried out in a manner that hopefully will not have a big impact on Dungeons.
Explanation in detail
We want to prevent running away using the character's mobility.
In the case of some PvP maps with high ceilings, the ceiling position has been lowered.
To further prevent the act of holding out or running away while recovering mana, the duration or effectiveness of certain buffs like Meditation, Natal Chart and White Hat has been lowered.
We have also increased the MP cost of commands that let you cheese in air for long.
The hitstun of certain command attacks that bully the opponent is problematic, such as Noah 2nd Path dice command, and it has a relatively high MP gain like the toy commands of Laby 4th Path.
We have also adjusted some other attack's MP cost and recovery. We are monitoring the feedback of adventurers about difficulties when playing PvP matches, and we empathize with those concerns internally as well.
Some characters were being constantly mentioned in adventurers' opinions, and they also have a high average win rate in the play data.
For certain characters, we have reviewed the match data more carefully. It turned out that these are showing a high win rate in SSS or higher ranks. We believe that this has a negative impact on the PvP mode.
Therefore, based on the opinions of adventurers, drastic adjustments will be made to some commands and skills that have a great impact on gameplay in PvP.
Some passives and skills that are not separated to Dungeon/PvP will have their PvP values adjusted.
In addition, to prevent the events of taking certain characters to speed up the cooldown of escape skills, we modified them not to be affected by Cooldown Speed Increase (Cooldown Acceleration) in PvP.
Even after this Balance Patch, if additional issues are identified, we will continue patching them in the periodic Dungeon-oriented Balance Patches.
Common changes
Lowered the ceiling's position in Elrianode Town, Eternal Winner, Remnants of the Snowstorm PvP maps.
Evasion skills will not be affected by Cooldown Speed Increase effects in PvP.
