10/10 Patch Notes - Serpentium Raid Difficulty 4 + Challenge Mode Changes Pre-Notice

Developer Notes
Serpentium Tower and Orchestra Hall will have their difficulty 4 added.
This stage has higher monster health and serves a variety of difficult patterns.
You can obtain even more T.E.S. Chips through this difficulty.
Weekly and repeatable drop rewards are available. Raid accessories also be obtained via repeated clear.
Clear Orchestra Hall for a guaranteed Type T Circuit Amplifier.
Challenge Mode improvements, which were discussed during our offline meeting this summer, will be implemented on October 24.
Due to debuffers being the preferred choice when it comes to party composition, buffs will be adjusted to affect both parties.
However, effects obtainable via selection of one person (Golden Vow, Trolley Dilemma, Brave Cover) will not be changed (the other side cannot receive those effects.)
Since there are 8 party members, we believe that these changes will lead to a decrease in difficulty.
We would like to inform you that there might be additional difficulty adjustments following this patch.
Challenge Mode rewards have also been changed.
Force Skills obtainable as clear reward will be added as an exchange for Dark Fire Aura / Annihilating Soul Aura.
We are also lowering the existing exchanges to encourage adventurers to play Challenge Mode to acquire them.

Fill the Pumpkin Basket
Duration: October 10 ~ November 1
Target: Character Lv. 10 or higher (per account)
Details: During the event period, you can clear daily missions and progress your pumpkin basket.
When the basket is fully filled with candy, you can additionally obtain Spicy Pumpkin Candy.
Cumulative rewards when fully filling the basket obtainable up to 20 times. Rewards include Mini Pumpkin, Candy Ghost, Poru Seal Selection Cube etc.

Dungeon
An issue where the energy recharge reset message did not appear when lowering the health of the Serpentium Tower Phase 2 defense system below 150 bars has been fixed.
An issue where, after seeing the 100% energy recharge message of the Serpentium Tower Phase 2 defense system, the energy recharge message would not appear again when the health dropped below 150 bars without entering the groggy state has been fixed.
An issue where, in the scouting phase of Serpentium Tower Phase 2, the raid members and the host would fail the pattern even when in a safe zone due to desynchronization has been fixed.

Added set effect icons to item icons of the Tenebrous and Exascale equipment.

An issue where the help text for NPC reforge guide overlapped when adjusting the UI size in certain resolutions has been fixed.
An issue where the Blessing Fountain effect in the Guild UI was not showing as reset at the reset time has been fixed.
An issue where the village quest question mark icon remained in its previous position after changing the guild base skin has been fixed.
An issue where guild members (not administrators) were seeing guild application notification icons has been fixed.
An issue where the UI forcibly closed when expelling a guild member in the Guild UI has been fixed.
The recommended number of players for the dungeon "Tree of El" in the Dungeon UI has been corrected to match the actual number of players allowed to enter.
The recommended number of players for the dungeon "Twisted Time and Space - Fahrmann's Peak" in the Dungeon UI has been corrected to match the actual number of players allowed to enter.
An issue where only Ciel items were being searched when selecting multiple characters, including Ciel, in [Marketplace > Quick Search Filter > Character] has been fixed.
An issue where all Gems of Skill (Pet Gems) in the character's inventory could not be appraised when both unidentified Gems of Skill were held in the bank and the character's inventory has been fixed.
An issue where certain achievements could not be completed has been fixed.

As for drop rates, they are not available on the client, so it's impossible to tell.
lv.4 has 50% less damage to monsters compared to lv.3. I was wondering if other monsters would know this damage reduction figure part
Not possible. The damage reduction stat is applied dynamically, and can change as the stage progresses or the boss uses a different attack. It’s too many NPCs to write out, and it’s not getting added anytime soon.
In the upcoming V2 version, I'll think about adding it, but it will be displayed as a set of values - up to one's interpretation on what they mean.

I'm sorry, but when will the raid c.m change of KR server be added?
Naturally, I'll update it when I have time later today. Challenge is optional content, and I didn't have time to spare to do so right away. Content is always automatically updated when the data is synced (theoretically, I don't have to be aware of the patch content.)

kinda of a weird move not to give the 4th paths their alternate skill cut in. They'll probably release all 4th path's at once. Typical KoG padding at it's finest.

New players need ED to progress(Buy Chlorite, reforge, imprinting, mystic enchant, buy ib, etc) KoG Games nerf new players ED gain Also KoG Games: "Why new players dont want to play our game?" Endgame players leads the inflation, because they can farm more and with less effort, so, KoG make they gain MORE ED. Remember, a endgame player have it Tenebrous Set +10/11 reforge +21, SoA +11, artifact set, harconium modify, imprint, everything(they have it 8m cp), so, WHY they get a new ED gain and new players get they ED nerfed? WHY KoG, Why?????? Ya, Endgame players needs ED to reforge the new set and so, but they just have a builded character for endgame, and the weakers players need to begin this journey, so why they broken the legs for people who need more help? i dont get it
8m cp nowaday with abyss is no longer end game, you can up until 10/12m cp minimum with full set abyss, finished weapon with full abyssal stone and natural flow title with only +11 End game player are more than 12/13m cp today and much more with the new armor set I've only 8m6 cp and i'm so tiny compared to real end game player
And people without 8m cp cant progress if they dont have ED gain. So, what the point nerf ED for player who need most? If a endgame player have to use ED for new set, a player with 5m or less, have to spend ED with Tenebrous, SoA, Artifact, Harconium etc. So much than people who surpass this phase. I dont get the point here...
It's not just new players suffering from this stuff. My strongest character can't seem to break even 1.5m no matter what I seem to try, and ED is definitely one of several roots of the problem (ED costs are a problem in several different categories - Reforging, Imprinting, board costs for Artifact socketing). Feels like something's wrong that my Amethyst Propecy gear (+9 (would be +10 if the amulets from Prof.Pho could be used on them) with +18 Reforge) and my +11 VoS (not the freebie +11 that was just handed out, but one from a previous event that I somehow got lucky enough to upgrade) can't cut it in most of Pruinaum. To be honest, I don't even want to touch Tenebrous or Exascale with all the wild extra crap that has to go with them, they just absolutely reek of too much RNG and sunk costs.
All of these ED sinks suck. Either give us more ED, or cut the costs of these sinks, or take some of the RNG out of them so the price is worth the trouble.
Not to mention, some of us are trying to save ED for things we actually want to try to get with it than burn it just trying to eke out some tiny extra bit of Combat Power.
....also you couldn't have fixed the Void weapon Achievements while fixing those other ones? Still practically impossible to get 777 or 1000 consecutive runs without getting that drop, even with a full roster of characters.
The problem is that Elsword is not balanced in accordance to each server's economy. So, if there is an influx of new players on KR, all servers across the board will get ED supply nerfs, and it doesn't matter if it actually works for them or not. Conversely, suffering the lack of new players on KR can make them increase ED gain in newbie content (this already happened when they reworked Epic Quests for the first time), neither of which is good for anything else than KR, because they never care what the ratio of demand vs supply is in there.
As much as I want to avoid bringing it up, especially since lots of people just get upset the moment it's mentioned - the only other server that's balanced based on its own economy is the private server.
Again with nerfing Secret Dungeons ED.

...must be a kr party culture thing, cause i ain't seeing that so much stateside. in na, we just ask for straight up phys/mag based on buffs, usually prioritized after dps and healing. but i suppose that might be a pre-plegas thing.
It's only about Challenge Mode. Due to the way it works, the split between 2 parties makes buffs apply only to the party the character giving the buff is in. Debuffs affect the enemy, so all 8 people can benefit. Not a culture thing at all, it's just way more efficient to get a healer that debuffs rather than one that doesn't, or a debuffer instead of a buffer, to benefit all people instead of just 4. This trend exists on every server to my knowledge.
