Master Artifact Growth Stage 5
When Master Artifact reaches Stage 5, its appearance changes and a new passive skill is unlocked.

Complete the Epic Quest 'Entering Mirror Dell' with Artifact Stage 4 to advance.
Passive skill effect: 1 Hidden Power slot added, Artifact Skill unlocked
When Artifact reaches Stage 5, you can apply both traits to one skill through the new Hidden Power slot.
You can activate any skill of the current job that has skill traits.
You can reroll the skill by consuming 'Master Artifact Hidden Power Scroll'.
Fully effective in PvP, but in Ereda Island, only the original skill trait selection will apply.
In PvP and Ereda Island, the Artifact's appearance is not exposed.
When Artifact reaches Stage 5, a new Artifact Skill is unlocked.
Artifact Skills can be used by charging a special resource through hitting monsters and casting the Master Skill.
The special resource can be checked at the bottom of the Master Skill slot.
Artifact Skills can be used once per dungeon at base, but the number of uses and skill effects depend on the equipped Mirror Dell Artifact Equipment's fixed effect.
Mirror Dell Artifact Equipment

Mirror Dell Artifact Equipment consists of Circlet, Armor, Necklace and Ring.
Mirror Dell Artifact Equipment can be obtained via Mirror Dell Dungeon 3, or can be crafted with 5 Crystals of Overcoming (20 for Ring). This craft is limited to once per week (1 count for Circlet/Armor/Necklace, 1 count for Ring). Crystals of Overcoming come from dismantling Mirror Dell Artifacts (1 Crystal per equipment item).
Cannot be stored in the Shared Bank, but can be traded once after sealing.
Set Effect is also applied when wearing together with Master Road Artifacts.
Mirror Dell Artifact Stats

Fixed Effect

This effect is determined once upon appraisal, and cannot be rerolled.

By consuming additional Conversion Stones, you can keep a specific effect, but the value will be rerolled.
There are 3 Conversion Effects per Artifact Equipment slot, and the same effect may appear again during Conversion.
Additional & Special Effect can be inherited from the existing Artifacts.
The Artifact Effect Inheritance feature allows you to inherit Additional (Identification) effects and special effects (Artifact Spirit Stone) from Master Road Artifact Equipment.

I LEGIT NEVER NOTICED THE CONVERSION EFFECTS!! Can’t believe I overlooked that. It’s interesting, but idk if adding yet another layer of RNG to player stats is a good idea. But at least they gave us the option to reroll only the value, even if it does cost more resources.
I think I’m better off just giving up on hoping the game will become better in terms of actual QoL. Elsword IS a Korean game, after all…
Closers is also a Korean game, and last I played (I’m currently on an unplanned break from it), it had some pretty good QoL imo. I don’t think Elsword being Korean has anything to do with its QoL.
calling anything you want from the game hope was one of your major mistakes. there’s plenty of hope, and none of it is anyone’s petty wants from this game.
I like the idea of double traits, but how do we get “Master Artifact Hidden Power Scroll” to change the skill ?
Pretty sure it’s the same scroll used to change the effects of the Stage 3 Hidden Power effects.
Edit: In other words, the scroll already existed for a while now.
Item Mall or drop in Master Road, yeah. This item exists since Master Road’s release.

…can we please stop with ‘not affected by Drop Rate’ areas? Or at least lift the restriction on older areas (seriously, it feels like everything after Elrianode or Varnimyr is subjected to this). Otherwise what even is the point of that buff!? Not like it guarantees anything even in the places where it works.
It’s nice to see them finally doing something about Artifacts. Kinda wish it wasn’t completely tied to the new region, though (so for most of us still toiling away in Pruinaum Outskirts or Tirnog trying to slowly build up Resonance and power levels, we ain’t seeing any of that for a long time, not even the new level up). First off, prime example 1 of lifting the drop rate restrictions because of how much the accessories never drop on Master Road. Also I feel like the Spirit Stone Shards need to be given the Circuit Amplifier treatment and have some of their lower values deleted. There’s just too much RNG in some of these systems…
oh my god it’s master road 2 but with shadow effects
okay, so the trailer for the new region was honestly one of the best looking ones so far.
the region so far is one base area modified to match modified reused assets
and that’s okay, if nothing else it’s not new for the game and master road was partly like that (partly), even if maybe just a little more can be asked for and also there’s a discrepancy with the animated preview being effectively more new than the place itself thus far.
but i mean it when i say it’s okay. we’ll see where this goes and what the last 2 sections are like.
the new artifacts already look as though they have a better drop rate than the old artifacts which were about as rare as raid accessory boxes
but i don’t know if the description here is implying if the new artf. gear is a guaranteed drop from managing to finish part 3 or if its guaranteed that only one of the 3 absolutely will drop with the conversion rock or if it’s still low drop rate overall for all 3. i might be parsing some of that wrong. but from what i can see, seems like the ring is effectively a crafting-only piece like the bestest mandala from atma’ram.
i don’t expect too much mercy even if those craft material requirements would look absurd if they had teh same drop rates as teh old artf. gear.
but the fact that these are craftable at all is a massive improvement.
one of the bosses has trash as its foundation
ehf
overall neat, but i can’t be sure that the new artf. gear is worth what it takes to try to get them.
because the MR ones absolutely were mostly not, and it’s much better that the new ones can ape off of the pho handouts they had to give out because of that preposterously low drop rate.
who’s the hobo child whose getup for some reason makes me think of a non-henir(?) glaive
and what manner of mistreatment shall these pretentious writers foist upon them that much of the playerbase shall self-pleasure over with their pompous bloviating
Only the Conversion Stone is guaranteed - they didn’t specify anything about the Artifacts.
Alas, there is even a craft for the new Artifacts specifically, so I don’t think it’s a guaranteed drop.
that’s the barest minimum of better, but it is actually still better than MR artf. gear.
unless the drop rates here are actually worse, then i retract that and it’s the whole pity enhancement crap again. but i don’t know that, so i’ll reserve condemnation for it.
Out of 6 Mirror Dell dungeons, 3 are selected in a particular order each week.
Hang on, what does this mean for the region’s story quests?
Mirror Dell is not affected by Item Drop Rate stats, Item Drop Rate medals, events, etc.
SERIOUSLY?! What the crap, KoG?!
Complete the Epic Quest 'Entering Mirror Dell' with Artifact Stage 4 to advance.
Oof, I was hoping it’d just be another “reach level 10 to advance the stage” thing. Not exactly a fan of this approach.
You can reroll the skill by consuming 'Master Artifact Hidden Power Scroll'.
Oof, so it is RNG. That sucks.
When Artifact reaches Stage 5, a new Artifact Skill is unlocked.
That’s intere-
Artifact Skills can be used once per dungeon at base, but the number of uses and skill effects depend on the equipped Mirror Dell Artifact Equipment's fixed effect.
WHAT THE CRAP, KOG?!
Mirror Dell Artifact Equipment
Not surprising, MMOs always introduce new and more powerful equipment as they get updated. Though some people coughBrancliffcough don’t seem to understand this basic concept.
New 3rd Job Quick Voices
Neat.
It’s not RNG, at least:

Oh, neat. Guess I misunderstood, then.
Nah. They didn’t specify this.
they have to ignore drop rate so much that’s almost becoming outmoded. and i don’t even know how much they help with the places that do allow their function. can’t be sure of much in regards to that when it’s a random thing.
also i missed that stage 4 requirement, but at least it’s not a basic dungeon entry demand, unlike tene armor.
brancliff
still around? welp. can’t say i have room to criticize him, but i’ll take any accusation of hypocrisy that comes from admitting that his content still irk me like a lot of the olden-days els whiners still do.
I don’t actually know if he is, I just STILL remember when I saw his videos complaining about things that literally every MMO does (like him complaining how the weapons from the TIME-LIMITED raids were powercrept (which honestly I don’t think time-limited equipment should EVER be the best equipment in ANY game)), among other things.
raids as optional or time-limited events that aren’t completely needed by the game through story or normalized predatory mmo farming culture (partly)
what a concept :’|
I’m pretty sure that’s not what I said (though tbh I can’t fully understand what you’re saying) (Edit: Nvm, I misunderstood). I said that I think that THE BEST GEAR IN THE GAME shouldn’t ever be a limited-time thing. It essentially punishes players who didn’t even have an account/know about the game when said gear was distributed.
oh i wasn’t criticizing. i was pointing out that the very concept of what’s called a raid in this game is absurd even considering what other mmo’s do(n’t).
and yeah, time limited stuff being an overreaching meta’s a problem, hard agree.

Guess I misunderstood, then. That’s my bad.

Thankfully they haven’t done that since. But it’s still a pain in the butt to get/build the current strongest gear.
at this point we ll see a new weapon soon to drain more $$$
possible exascale augments before new armor, then new armor, then weapon.
exascale augments are a maybe based on how less barebones they are compared to pre-wall tene.
